Love this sweater!!!

I think I've worn these items before but here lately I'm just focused on getting Christmas done for my children and the boyfriendand being warm and comfy!!!

 I went and hung out with an old friend had lunch did a little shopping and caught up. I thoroughly enjoyed shutting my brain for a couple hours.

I'm baaaaaccccck!!!!

So I took a two week break from blogging because of Thanksgiving holiday and just to fix up my blog a little bit. Im still not done working on it of course but its good for now.

 I dont know if any of you got it but here in Dallas we had an ice storm hit. Everyone was locked inside for days and the kiddos have been out of school for 2 days now. I wouldn't be surprised if they were out tomorrow also.

 I was beginning to get cabin fever so I had to get out even if just for 20 minutes which is exactly what it was. A 20 minute trip to Walmart.  I wasn't looking to be to stylish just wanted to be warm so of course had to throw on a sweater and snow boots.

Lunch with the bff

I loved loved loved the day I had today. I celebrated one of my best friends 26th birthday today. We had a great lunch date and much needed time away from the house. I so love her so much. I couldn't ask for a better friend. Truly value our friendship and so glad she choose me to help her celebrate her birthday.

The bff has started her blog back up, she took a break from blogging which sometimes is much needed. You should check her blog out.

 It was freezing today which is the perfect weather for this time of year. So of course I went with a cozy sweater and jeans for our lunch date.

Shorts and Tights!!!

Sooo, all that warm weather we had in Dallas last weekend is long gone. It is very cold here, but I'm kinda liking it. Starting to really love layers, and jackets, and scarves.
 I stayed in most of the weekend, had a movie theater style movie night with my babies and the boyfriend.
We ended up going for cappuccinos and hot chocolate on Sunday.  It was a very nice family weekend. Now getting ready for the crazy Thanksgiving week ahead.

Casual interview #2

I love that I can dress very casual for an interview.  Makes the interview a little easier and laid back for me which I love.  I had another interview the other day and it went great.  So cross your fingers that I got the job!!!

Weekend fun

It was very nice this weather this weekend in Dallas, so of course the fam and I took full advantage of it. 

 We actually went outside and played, I played like I was a kid again, and I'm definitely feeling it now. Went to the park, fed some ducks and ended our day at an arcade to celebrate my daughters 9th birthday, which is tomorrow.  

 Of course Sunday was a lazy lay around and watch movies kind of day. We were all wore out from the day before. 

I loved the weather this weekend to bad its not here to stay.  Hope you all had a good weekend too!!!

Comfortable while thrifting

Its like I am always at the thrift store or out getting something for the house or something my kids or boyfriend needs. But I can't complain because I do love shopping and I do love a good deal. 
 So it was another day of thrifting for me so of course comfy is my choice of clothing for the day. I found some great items, cant wait to share them with you guys.
